Are You Coachable?
Coaching may or may not be the next best move for you. To help you
decide, here are some questions for you to consider before starting a
coaching relationship. Answer them for yourself, review them, and if you
have any questions of your own, be sure to contact us. Then, decide and move
forward.
Are you reliable? Can you commit to a course of action and be counted
on to do it?
What are three examples of times when you have made important
commitments and kept them?
Do you regularly keep your word without conditions?
Can you be willing to try on new concepts or different ways of doing
things?
Are you at a point in your life where you are willing to be asked to
stretch yourself to achieve what you want?
Are you honestly committed to creating the results you want in your
life?
Can you tell your coach the truth about what you are feeling and doing?
Can you be willing to tell your coach if things aren't working?
What liabilities or problems do you bring to this project? What could
get in your way?
Can you afford coaching right now? And do you see it as a worthwhile
investment in yourself?
What has held you back from what you want so far? How do you think
coaching will help?
